It's incumbent upon lawyers to guide the client to the best resolution of the matter for the client especially when the client is getting in its own way.</p><p>As Brendan Sullivan said, "I am not a potted plant." On the other hand, some clients just want errand boys (and girls); they're not interested in wise counsel; just execution as they see it.
